How Do I Use the Ploom X Device?
With an intelligent and intuitive design, the Ploom X starts up at your touch. Simply plug the EVO tobacco stick into the opening at the top of the device, wait a few seconds for the device to warm up, then you're ready to go. Vibration and LED indicators notify you when the device needs charging, and when it has reached full charge.
How Is Heated Tobacco Different from Smoking?
Rather than burning straight through the tobacco, heated tobacco products use electricity to heat tobacco leaves until just before combustion. This produces a vapour that contains nicotine and many of the same chemicals traditionally found in tobacco smoke, but at a lower (and healthier) concentration.
Is Heated Tobacco Safer than Smoking?
The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) reports that the emissions created from heated tobacco products generally contain lower levels of harmful particles than regular cigarette smoke. However, this does not mean that heated tobacco is safe, and more research is needed to understand the short and long-term effects.
