When you buy an E-Cig Starter Kit, it is likely that you will find something akin to the image above. Most cigalike e-cigarettes feature the same two basic parts: the refill cartridge and the battery. The refill cartridge contains the e-liquid, which is what gives the e-cigarette its taste and (in most cases) its nicotine. The battery is used to heat the e-liquid, which then produces the vapour that is inhaled.
For this particular e-cigarette, the battery is the longer white section and the cartomisers are the shorter light-brown sections – when used together they mimic the design and feel of a traditional cigarette. This is ideal for those people who are trying to move to vaping from smoking after having smoked for a long time as it provides a similar feel and sensation. Now that you've gotten to grips with what is included with your starter kit, you might be asking yourself – how can I start vaping? The answer is simple: follow these four easy steps! Step One: Remove Packaging
It might sound obvious, but the first thing that you have to do with any e-cigarette kit is remove all of the included packaging. The majority of e-cigarettes are supplied in sealed packaging, helping you to ensure that no-one has touched or tampered with your device. For the purposes of the images above, we have removed the sealed packaging from the battery and cartomisers. Some e-cig refills (including the ones above) utilise protective caps to further ensure that your e-cigarette is protected in transit – these must be removed before use. Step Two: Connect the Refill and the Battery
Once you are sure that all protective packaging has been removed, the refill cartomiser can be screwed into the battery. This can be done by hand and does not require any great amounts of force and strength. When your e-liquid cartridge is empty, simply unscrew it, throw it away and replace it with a new cartridge. For reusable e-cigarettes, the batteries are designed to be used multiple times so there is no need to replace these after every use – all they need are a quick recharge! Step Three: Use and Enjoy!
Once you have connected the battery to the cartridge, your e-cigarette should be ready to use immediately. With most Cigalike e-cigarettes, you don't even need to press a button in order to activate the device – simply draw on it as you would a lit cigarette. Your e-cig should be charged straight out of the box and you can check this by drawing on it; if the tip of the battery glows, the battery is charged and ready to use. All in all, it takes approximately thirty seconds to go from opening your e-cigarette starter kit to actually being able to vape with it – you can't say fairer than that! Step Four: Recharge Your Battery and Vape Again!

To charge your e-cigarette, you have to remove the cartomiser from the battery and then screw the battery into the charger. Once the charger is connected with your computer's USB drive, your battery will begin to charge – no software to download, no problems with connectivity or compatibility.
