Where to Get Vapes

Okay, so I know what vaping is, I've read up on the health risks and now I want to buy and try my first vape. What next?

What's Your Type?

First of all, you need to decide which type of vaporiser is right for you. If you're unsure of the different types and need some more info, have a read of our handy guide.

If its a e-cig or cigalike you're after - smaller vapes which resemble traditional cigarettes – you may be able to pick one up from your local convenience store. Easy enough!

If, however, you want a bit more choice, or are keen to try out a vape pen or mod (the exciting older sisters of e-cigs), you're gunna need to visit a specific vape shop. Vape shops exist both on and offline.

Ahh, the Vape Shop, fast becoming a high-street staple. You may have an image of a dark, stuffy tobacconists in your head, but often vape shops are more like colourful ice cream parlours for grown-ups, boasting a variety of flavours to sample and buy. Some even look like bars and have lounges where customers can vape, socialise and cloud-chase together!

In London alone there are now over a hundred shops specialising in the selling of electronic cigarettes, e-liquids and other vaping accessories.

You may choose to visit a physical vape shop if you want to see the vapes in-the-flesh before you buy. Think of when Harry Potter first visited Ollivander's wand shop – feel the weight of the vape in your hand, give it a wave, make sure you're suited to one another... the vape chooses the vaper, Mr Potter!

Online Bling

Despite this, vapes are mainly available online and there is generally a larger choice in this realm. Because of this, and the fact that you can browse from the comfort of your own home, online vape shopping is often preferable to shopping in store.

Most online vape stores have choices of cigalikes, vape pens and vape mods available for you to purchase. They'll usually also offer starter kits which tend to contain a vaporiser, battery, charger and flavours to get you started.
